Rapadura Sugar is an unrefined sugar, which retains the natural molasses – giving Rapadura its unique caramel flavour, sweet aroma and rich golden colour. Unlike other sugars, it has a grainy texture rather than a crystallized one because it is not as heavily processed. This lack of processing means that rapadura sugar has slightly higher essential vitamins and minerals then regular sugar.
Simply replace other sugars 1:1, or use it instead of agave syrup and honey.
Please note, rapadura sugar is still a sugar and is best consumed in moderation!
