Use our organic plain flour for all your baking needs. This flour is perfect as an all-purpose flour in cakes, scones, muffins and biscuits, breads and rolls.
Flour is also delicious in home-made pasta, producing pasta that holds together very well when cooked. As this Organic Flour is a plain flour it is necessary to add a raising agent, such as yeast or baking powder, when baking or using a recipe that needs self-raising flour.
Our Flour comes from Millers Foods, a 100% Australian owned and operated flour mill in Western Australia.
Millers Organic White Flour is milled from a carefully selected blend of West Australian Hard and Premium White Organic wheats with an average protein content between 9% and 12.5%. During the milling process 1% of the protein content of the wheat is removed with the outer bran layer, Subsequently the minimum protein content of the flour will be 8% and the typical range of protein will be 8% – 11.5 %.
