7 tips for creating a nourishing morning routine...


 

 Mornings...you either love ‘em 😍 or hate ‘em 😠 ...

 



🙋🏼‍♀️But...

if you make an effort to create a calm + healthy morning routine, you can change your life 🙏

I’m not going to lie, if you’re not a morning person it will require effort, but you’ve got this 👊🏻🙋🏼‍♀️

Ideas for a nourishing morning routine -

☑️ get up when you wake up, don’t doze, don’t give those thoughts that creep in a chance to multiply and elevate your cortisol levels (hello stress before the day has even started)

☑️take some deep belly breaths to calm your nervous system

☑️ think of a least 5 things / people / situations you are grateful for, meditate on these for a few minutes - remember - ⭐️ our lives are what our thoughts make it ⭐️ if your mindset is negative, give yourself a pep talk. Think of this as exercise for your brain the way weight training builds muscles for your body 💆‍♀️🏋️‍♀️

☑️ have a big glass of water, follow with a coffee or tea if you like.

☑️ move your body! Stretch, Walk / Run, head to the gym, just move 🏃‍♀️

☑️ eat a wholesome breakfast within an hour of your workout, to aid muscle recovery and blood sugar levels. If you are having a protein smoothie, add in some psyllium husk and avo.

☑️Get you Vit C and supps into you, and fill a Stainless Steel Water bottle to make sure you start drinking your water early! For gut health add some Apple Cider Vinegar to your water bottle.

☑️ Now you’re ready to seize the day 🙌💚⭐️

and...on a good day, the kids sleep in so you can do your morning routine in peace and quiet 😆
